Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting
The lighting of this famous giant Christmas tree will be televised from coast-to-coast, kicking off the holiday season at Rockefeller Center. The ceremony takes place at the end of November each year and is aired live on the NBC television network. The lighting occurs at approximately 8:50p. The entire area gets extremely crowded, so come early if you want to see anything. If you miss it, the tree is lit every night through December.
I Live in england and we have SOOOO much better lights, i was very disapointed because i was expecting alot more from you guys in America, don't get me wrong your country ROCKS And so do you guys but the lights were poor.
The 2007 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is a big, beautiful tree - but who decided to use blue, purple, and green lights? Who has a blue and purple Christmas tree? Is this a politically correct "holiday" tree? It certainly does not look like a Christmas tree!
The tree lighting ceremony was a disgrace.
Outside of Josh, Celine and Tony the performers were terrible. And to allow
Taylor whatever her name, to butcher sacred "Silent Night" the way she did is beyond any sense of dignity. With the exception of the above mentioned performers the show lacked class. Shame on you.
I would not recommend this show to anyone.
The icons of NYC, the Rockettes, were given the least amount of time of any of the acts.
They deserved more.
Everything was fine until Beyonce decided to blaspheme the Ave Maria with that dress that should have been worn for one of sex tapes. Then to add to the insult, the Rocketts, who may or not be Christians wore scanty outfits showing, or at least implying nudity for the Holy season. The producers should take bible school class as there are young children who enjoy the lighting. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The best tree I've ever seen. I've seen & experienced tree before in recent years but never like this one. Tourist from all over the world will get the best experience EVER when they come to visit New York City for the holidays this year.
It is a very nice place to visit, even if it gets crowded,it is something expectacular to see.My daoughter really love the Lithing of the tree, the decorations of the department stores. It was a great experience for all of us.
