A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, this museum contains a core exhibition of more than 2,000 historic photographs and 800 historical and cultural artifacts, as well as 24 original documentary films. These devices educate people of all ages and backgrounds about the broad tapestry of Jewish life over the past century, before, during, and after the Holocaust. In fall 2003, the Museum of Jewish Heritage dedicated its 82,000-square-foot Robert M. Morgenthau Wing, which contains the state-of-the-art Edmond J. Safra Hall, Andy Goldsworthy's Garden of Stones, catering hall, classrooms, and expanded gallery space, for special exhibitions. Check website for more details on current and upcoming events.

Something Different in NYC
By MistyH, 08/23/05
If you're near the WTC site, you should walk to this museum and prepare to learn. Give yourself a couple of hours to go through it. There are three floors and each of them focuses on a different part of I'm not Jewish, and Ifound it incredibly interesting and educational. If you have any questions about Judaism or any interest in the Holocaust, etc. be sure to visit.

I was so impressed with the organization of the exhibitions in this museum. The presentation of artifacts and personal stories is unique and magnificent. The view are also incredible....one of the most astounding views of New York harbor I have ever seen
