The Illustration House is devoted to the art and history of illustration as it has appeared over the past century. Since the gallery's founding in 1974, illustrative art has exploded in popularity, and many cartoon cells (original drawings) and commercial illustrations have risen in value. Exhibits, standard sales,"back porch" auctions and twice annual publicized auctions are all featured. Norman Rockwell, Howard Pyle, Coles Phillips and J.C. Leyendecker are only a few of the many artists represented.
