If you have been to Sea World or the Baltimore Aquarium or even better the Singapore Aquarium in Singapore, then you'd better lower your expectations while visiting this aquarium. Bear in mind that this Aquarium is the easiest option for New Yorkers due to its convenient access (not necessarily the best option). Hamstrung by the lack of space, there aren't too many exhibits and/or activities for young children to enjoy. The highlight of the aquarium is the gigantic Shark tank - the thrill of being able to see these intimidating creatures up so close is exhilarating! If you are visiting NYC and are pressed for time, I'd suggest that there are other tourist spots that need to be checked out.
