Statue of Liberty, New York

The Statue of Liberty is a marvel of the world and deserves to be known as one. It radiates with an atmoshpere of freedom and peace. One can look upon Lady Liberty and feel a sense of Pride for themselves and the world.

I love the way she stand tall, symbolyzing freedom. My first visit was incredible, the feeling of being there next to her, climbing to the crown & see the magnificent city of New York. Every one will enjoy the visit to Lady Liberty.

The atmospher was ecstatic.Lady liberty was fantastic. Reading all about her at the stations around the island was brill.You felt like you were part of history.On the ferry ride over you could'nt wait to get on the island.

I loved living in New York and being a new yorker i had been there my whole life from the second i was born. It's depressing how i had to leave because of such sitiuations in life that came.i have left 3 months ago to MI and now i can't forget those memories of how i saw and went throught good and bad memories and vactions we had there. i will never forget my fun filling times that i had spent there every second.

I was 51 years old before I got to actually visit the statue! My daughter and I went on my birthday, and it was absolutely fantastic! Being American, I always wanted to go, but something always came up. I will definitely go, again, and take my daughter..hopefully this Spring!

From the ride out on the boat, to ride back, is an experience I will never forget. The feeling and emotion it left with me will always be apart of me. My daughter and her family are going to New York City for their Christmas vacation this December and enough though I know the climb will be to much for my young grandchildren, they will at least view The Lady. Until you see her, you just can't fathom Her. I must admit, I was a little nervous during my climb. The torch was not open when I went, the crown was.

My favorite part was going inside the statue and looking out of her crown. (the little windows) It was awesome! Something I will never get to do again in my life time.

The Statue Of LIBERTY,, The name tells it all, The Structure is what all people from around the world belief represents Freedom ! To me,being 16 years old in 1956,was the greates Wonder of the world, Sure it took a long time to climb the steps to her hand,and perhaps to the inside of her torch,,but to this day,I would so desire to go back and feel the freedom for which "SHE stands" as my grandparents felt when they arrived from Germany in the 1880's,, The Statue of Liberty,to me is the most BEAUTIFUL image to appear on the NEW QUARTERS,Not to just represent New York,but to represent America,and all the FREEDOM we often times take for granted,,

it is wonderful she can take away your sadness and madness. i was there when the twin towers fell i stood in front of the twin towers as the terrorist flew into it

I'm Born in BROOKLYN, and living at the moment in Hamburg, Germany. When I travel home for a visit (2x a year), I love to travel through the city, and to see how �New York's Big Mamma is doing. Its good to see her standing tall, and I love to hear the happy travelers who has been there to see her. It warms my heart to hear how people here in Europe love NYC more than any city in the World.
