Description

Located in Central Park, the outdoor Wollman Rink is one of the city's premier ice skating spots. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and amateurs are certainly welcome. There is a snack bar and lockers available. Try to visit on the weekdays, as the weekends bring large crowds and long lines. Skate rentals and lockers are available. During the off-season, the space becomes a roller rink (call for hours and details).

Wrong Picture

I agree with Jim The picture accompanying this particular insert is the rink at Rockefeller Center where the giant Christmas tree is displayed. Piyush

Nice, but EXPENSIVE

You have to pay like $20 just to skate and borrow skates, and skating in the cold weather. But I have to admit nice and fun.

Wrong picture

The picture accompanying this particular insert is the rink at Rockefeller Center where the giant Christmas tree is displayed. Wollman rink is in Central Park,a beautiful Ice skating rink in the winter and an in line skating area in the summer. Jim

Hooked on New York

A warm Sunday morning in October. Sun shining. Sky blue and cloudless. The tall buildings surrounding the rink. My 2 kids skating whilst hubbby and me looked on. This was a moment........ Great memory from our first trip to New York.

i love it here

The thing i dont like are the rude pepole there i would not want togo back even though it was fun thank you. theres many of the staff that do not listen to the older pepole.

i love this city and every corner of it, at the rockefeller center i loved the ppl the things around the "angel"..NYC has so amazing places that you can not dislike..i was there 3,5 months and i wanna go back..and i will:)))

GREAT ICE SKATING RINK!

oh my goodness i loved this place! my children enjoyed it very much one is 14 and the other one is 11. we want to go back next year! it was extreamly cold but we got to ice skate. you GOT TO go here!

A Good Romantinc Date!

The place is wonderful especially in the night. If you're looking to spend time with your honey, you better come here. You're honey will really appreciate it. If you are a beginner you will laugh off your shoes trying to catch up with others. A good way to challege your patience skills.
