Easy to Navigate and Efficiant

I arrive in NYC via Amtrak, so I arrived and departed through Penn Station. When arriving, it was very easy to get a taxi as there were many waiting outside (though one deined me service, because he said he didn't want to travel in that direction - which I was later told was in violation of the city's taxi laws).
The shops and cafes are not at the caliber of Grand Central, and the structre itself is not nearly as impressive. Not something I would have gone out of my way to visit if I hadden't needed to go there, but it had everything you need for train traveling puropses.
