Shisha International, a smoke shop, specializes in international cigarettes and cigars, as well as smoking accessories! The helpful staff will patiently share their knowledge with you, make suggestions according to your taste, and may even let you sample some flavored tobaccos. Open late to cater to the bar crowd, and if you cannot find your brand of smokes here, then you probably cannot find it in all of New York .
(The location was in a great area. Lots of other places nearby for food, accessories, etc. There are also two banks down the block.)
The actual place itself has great service (the workers are very knowledgable and friendly). There are also tons of products available for your needs. From shisha, tabacco, bongs, coal, hookah, etc. - it's there. There is a wide range of prices as well and the staff members work with you in your price range.
West 4th is full of "water pipe" salesmen but don't let them sell you the cheapest mexican made pyrex glass also know as "Volcanoe" the RooR's in there are fake and the reason there are NO price tags is because the price is dependent on the customer. If you let em know your about to walk out the price drops significantly. Don't waste your money here when there are better shops willing to give you a better price than upsell you on something that will break in a few minutes. The salesman there told my friend he has the exact same piece and uses it everyday then the next time he came the guy said he doesn't use any water pipes.. Don't let em sell you.
I love this place. The price is alright. Remember it is located in Manhattan. They have all kinds of stuff. You should be able to find whatever you need. The people that work here are very knowledgable. One of the guys that works here even blows glass. He will make you what you want. I found this place years ago and I still love it. I now travel from long island to go there. If you haven't been there I recommend stopping by. Just look for the indian statue and head on in.
They have a ton of great bowls and water pipes, especially in the back they have some really intriguing designs, not to mention some great bongs ^_^
I live in NJ and i still go there and recommend it to all my friends.
This place is the greatest smoke shop in NYC! My friends and I used to drive from NJ just buy stuff there. Anything you want, you can find it there! Plus, the guys that work there are truly awesome people. Thank you Sisha International!
