The store slogan is "Fashion worth fighting for", acknowledging both the fabulous deals, and the trying environs. I was going out of my head in the handbag section - Tokidoki Sportsac, and Andy Warhol messenger bags ranged from $20 - $30. The shoe section (actually, a whole other building) had the goods (Puma, Royal Elastic, Adidas and more) starting at $30. Bring another suitcase to New York! Be warned, what you save in cash, you lose in sanity, elbowing through crowds, standing in line, and searching for the fitting room.

The store is crowded especially lunch hours Monday-Friday but after all this is NYC. You can get some really fantastic deals however you do need to search. The mens department is awesome as is the handbag department. They only carry costume jewelry not fine jewelry but you can get some fun jewelry. Everyone complains about rude salespeople but the last few times I have been in the store, the salespeople were friendly and helpful. If you are in NYC its worth the trip.

I love it because I love designers for less.Also,I love the city born & raised.Various sales from Juicy,FENDI,KORS,DVF,BCBG,VERA WANG,D&G ETC....It's so fun.I recommened it everyone.I brought various things there fendi &Ckhat,kors hoddie,jordans,seven jeans,letigre,ecko etc..Worth all of the money and more:)

Like the atmosphere. Good deals, but 75% off of a $4500 suit is still a bit much (actual example.) still spent $100 and saved $50 on stuff that I actually needed.

I work nearby the store so I am in there almost once a week and what I've noticed is that they recycle the clothes from the back of the store and they have some very old styles from 4 years ago that they are still rolling out and trying to sell like they are new. the prices never go down either, the same DKNY skirt and jacket and blouses were displayed in the same spot 3 years in a row! They put it away in the winter and roll it out again in the spring. The same with the coats. Great selection of shoes, socks and purses. Horrible customer service, i have never seen such rude obnoxious sales people in any other store. They give New Yorkers a bad name! go shopping on canal street, you will have a lot better experience!

Crowded, somewhat unorganized, but definitely good prices. I've only been there once; I'd go back again.
