Description

Fashion designer Mark Montano has brought hip couture clothing to the recently gritty East Village neighborhood. The young designer is gaining increasing fame, and has participated in fashion shows in New York, London and elsewhere. The boutique is a fanciful explosion of pink and faux opulence. Choose something from the rack, like a zebra print dress cut on the bias. Alternatively, you can commission the store to create something extra special for you. Please call ahead for store timings.

just loved it!

I stopped in after seeing Mark on While You Were Out, this show on TLC. His shop was lovely and so fresh. Lot's of things to buy, not many dresses, but tons of accessories and bags by his assistant George. I think it's worth a stop in. The store has great style which everyone can relate to.

fantastic store

excellent accessories, too. I started out going there for a dress and was sucked in by the bags and the jewelry. It was beautiful and very well priced. Apparently Mark had gone in a different direction and is now doing primarily home goods. So after shopping around a while I ended up with about 10 pairs of earrings and about 8 gifts for friends. It's a great store, the merchandise is lovely and there is something for everyone in there. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting that wants to take a little east village artsy fartsy away from New York!
