Classique Shoe Salon, New York

This store was recently remodeled and I was enticed to go in. The staff was so friendly and the store was easy to shop due to the extensive selection.

Great store, great service, great prices! What more do you need? The selection was excellent and the price was right. Can�t wait to go back!

Somthing about the owners and their willingness to bend over backwards to help and make the shoe fit perfectly makes this place just great. They know shoes.. and demand quality from their factories (they always have a story for me)... Check this place out.... especially if you are heading to departments stores or other designers boutiques.

I love this store. It's inviting. The shoes are beautifully made and comfortable and make my feet look tiny. I even had a favorite pair of their black leather sandals resoled -- can you imagine resoling sandals? Prices generally run around $250, but I found a great pair for $59 on sale. The shoes are classic in that they do not hop in and out of style. The store ships fast, too.

I've lived in New York for nine years but just recently moved to the upper east side where i stumbled upon this place. I was really impressed with the quality of shoes they offer and at reasonable prices. Up until about a six months I wore nothing but typical fare--kenneth cole, banana, etc. I'm now at the stage in my life and career where I should be moving on to the 'finer' things such as hand crafted italian leather shoes, and this place will be a keeper for me!!

Love this shoe salon with knowledgable and personal attention. The owner always has the perfect shoe for me. Prices are very reasonable for Made in Italy shoes. Very comfortable and well made. Sales are great but worth every penny at full price!

This store is great. My wife usually buys shoes as collector items but these she actually wears. And the salesman was great! He actually talked my wife OUT of buying a 3rd pair. I ended up buying my self a pair instead. Mens collection was limited but they had all the classics.

After 45 years they are closed with no forwarding information. I asked one of the local store owners and they were as surprised as anyone. Their phone is disconnected and their website is gone too. Before it was gone I emailed them with no reply. I was going there to buy my fall boots after a long period of being unable to for financial reasons. I have many of their pumps. Tremendous disappointment!

I was looking for a pair of boots.. their selection was great. The salesperson went on and on about the factory and the quality..... He would not stop... After taking the boots home and wearing them a few times I realized what he was raving about! He knew his shoes and was proud.
