Classique Shoe Salon, New York

After 45 years they are closed with no forwarding information. I asked one of the local store owners and they were as surprised as anyone. Their phone is disconnected and their website is gone too. Before it was gone I emailed them with no reply. I was going there to buy my fall boots after a long period of being unable to for financial reasons. I have many of their pumps. Tremendous disappointment!

Love this shoe salon with knowledgable and personal attention. The owner always has the perfect shoe for me. Prices are very reasonable for Made in Italy shoes. Very comfortable and well made. Sales are great but worth every penny at full price!

This small boutique deserves some big recognition. The owners know their stuff. A husband and wife team in the shoe business for 25 years (i think even more). The must have unbelievable connections throughout Italy because they hand select and slightly tweak some of the most comfortable, high quality shoes I have seen. Reasonable prices for what you get... a lifetime relationship!! (in the $275 to $350 for shooes and boots can reach $400's. During sale times there are some great bargains if you visit early and grab your size as soon as you see it... This place is well worth every penny. Shop and compare and you will always come back. The owners magic touch makes you think he is reading your mind to choose and make the shoes fit amazingly comfortable. Can't say enough good things... wish they had more locations... Loyal customer for 2 years....

Pleasant, attentive and patient staff; comfortable -- and elegant -- Italian shoes. And not shockingly expensive, despite the languishing dollar. What more could you want from a shoe store?

I love this store. It's inviting. The shoes are beautifully made and comfortable and make my feet look tiny. I even had a favorite pair of their black leather sandals resoled -- can you imagine resoling sandals? Prices generally run around $250, but I found a great pair for $59 on sale. The shoes are classic in that they do not hop in and out of style. The store ships fast, too.

This store was recently remodeled and I was enticed to go in. The staff was so friendly and the store was easy to shop due to the extensive selection.

I purchased a pair of balette flats from classique shoe. I tend to wear heels, but since ballet shoes are a hot trend I figured I would give it a shot. I am addicted!!! Not only are they stylish and comfortable but they wear really well. I went back and bought every color!! Heels, what heels.
