For a taste of the flavors and atmosphere of a Mexican Cafe, this is a fantastic place to eat. Do not let the lines out front deter you. They are an indication of the special treat that awaits you inside. This award-winning cafe serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. For breakfast the Fresh Char-grilled Trout or Huevos Rancheros are delicious. A lunchtime favorite is the Grilled Salmon Burrito. The dinner menu includes entrees like Niman Ranch Filet Mignon, Chile Rubbed Salmon Filet and a wonderful combination plate.
Everything about Pasqual's menu is amazingly different, but delicious Southwest. Though packed, the hostess made a way to fit us in without reservations and the service was warm and homey. The place is tiny, but that only adds to the atmosphere--there is no doubt you are in Santa Fe. We get through Santa Fe from time to time and make it a point to try to get in, but this time we had our 45th anniversary dinner there--it was very memorable.
Delicious food, wonderful ambiance, very small interior not much elbow room!

small space inside, food great, long lines for table availabilty, great wine list will definitely return, breakfast wonderful if you can arrive before 10 am. The seating at the large oval table with other diners was wonderul - talking with other guests was an unusual experience and we enjoyed ti.
the food was absolutely outstanding. service was great, and prompt, which is much appreciated after a 45 min wait. yum, my husband and I are planning another trip to Santa Fe just so we can eat here again. May I reccomend the quesadilla?!
Surly staff and a menu so over-priced as to be laughable. I'd eaten at Cafe Pasqual's since the year they opened, but no more.
Why pay such prices to be treated like cattle and have to eat in such a cramped, noisy venue.
There are many excellent restaurants in Santa Fe. When spending a relative large price for many of them it's a shame to pay for average food, crowded tables and way over-priced food. This description fits Cafe Pasqual's. There are many far better choices than standing in the street for average, at best, dining fare.
Great food. Always! We visit Santa Fe frequently and always have and will look forward to our lunch at Pasqual's. It's a small intimate, warm atmosphere. It's very popular, but worth the wait. My favorite if the Mole. Try it .... you'll like it!
It's crowded, colorful, and vibrant, just like the food! It is a joy to experience this creative restaurant, with food that is incredible. The staff is amusing, professional and most accomodating. It smells great, feels great and is really, well, great!
The breakfast that I had at Pasqual's was the best meal I have had in Santa Fe by far. The communal seating at the big table in the center is kind of novel, and is a great way to make new friends if you're so inclined.
NM and Southwestern influences, fresh ingredients, small place and therefore almost always a wait. Sign in for lunch and shop for a while. If you don't mind, there is a community table. The zucchini enchilada is wonderful, as is the chicken enchilada. The red saucethick and mole likeis among the tastiest in Santa Fe, though it is medium in spiciness. Mostly New Mexican fare for lunch, but an eclectic evening menu. My wife loves their breakfast burritos.
