AWFUL do not visit this place
By A, 5/20/12
Everything was terrible from the start. From the start they were rude and unpleasant to approach. Many of them were young untrained unethical individuals, but I quickly came to realize it was something they were taught "Tracy" who claimed to be the owner/manager was the most rude and down right insulting person I have ever encountered. Security rides around with a certain arrogance and 45mm hand gun or larger on their hip. I was told by Tracy and Security this was for the safety of myself and children. That fact alone made me more uncomfortable than the lack of hospitality provided by this place. It was nothing like when I was a kid and yes we too were forced to leave several dollars behind amongst several "Fun Passes" because either we did not have enough to buy something so it meant adding more to one or the other and found it more simple to leave the couple bucks behind. How many families or people buy the fun saver card and leave behind unused dollars? That is off the top for them, so when I told Tracy that I would not be returning due to the horrible experience she was okay with telling me "I would personally prefer you didn't come back to Cliff's, it's not a loss". The whole experience was a waste of money and a huge let down for my children as not one person extended so much as a smile. I was not impressed nor did I feel safe once I noticed security with weapons. It creates an uneasy situation. I will more than anything not be returning because Tracy who claimed to be owner and a local resident for that customer service and treating fellow residents with the respect they deserve as customers. She was one hostile human being with not one professional bone in her body and it reflects in her way of business. Food was terrible and cleanliness was too an issue. Not what we experienced in the past nor what we expected today. I am very disappointed and will never return.

Fun Night with the Kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/13/12
There's a side with rides for small kids, as well as rides for bigger ones - including the adults! The staff at the ticket booth, entrances, and rides were all very friendly. They were mostly kids working a summer job, but so nice, it made the visit all the more enjoyable. The games for toys were fun, too. Good prizes, and again really great staff.

SERIOUSLY AWESOME!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/10/11
I took my 4 year old little girl to Cliff's for the first time this summer and Oh My Gosh did we have fun! I hadn't been to Cliff's since I was a little girl and it was just as fun as I remember. There were plenty of rides for her to ride including a water monkeys adventure, which is a water play area inside the park. She spent hours on this attraction alone, and there was plenty of shade for me to hang out and watch. We are definitely going to try and go back before the season ends this year!!

Worst customer service I have ever encountered
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/10
We just recently visited Cliffs for a fun family day. The staff is very unfriendly. On one of the rides my head was hit by the bar when the staff member told us to put our hands up. I wasn't ready and had my head down as I had something painfully poking my foot so I had to see what was going on. He went ahead and lowered the bar even though I wasn't ready and if I hadn't put my head up when I did I could have seriously been hurt. When we went to make a complaint, the employee did not care so we went to customer service. The manager said the employee said we swore at him and he totally right out lied. That never happened and she said she believed her employee over usand we had just paid $130 to get in. We demanded a refund in which we did get and I will never again go to that joke of a park. When my husband told her that my head was hit with the bar, her response was they tell us to put our hands up. Be careful if you get injured because they will not take any responsibility and the staff is very unfriendly and they do not care about pleasing or making things right with the customer. The flying star ride is dangerous if you don't stay out of the way of the bar. it will continue to go down without stopping. Be aware and don't go to management because they don't care what you say, even if there staff lies to get away with not getting in trouble. Worst experience ever at an amusement park.. Don't expect an customer service from staff because you will not get it at cliffs. Everyone looks like they hate their job..Don't expect too much from this park. It will not meet your standards if your standards are high or if you have been to a real amusement park like disney, orlando, or six flags..

Can't wait to go back!
By CatherineE, 7/18/10
We loved the place because we could download 1/2 coupons for 50% off the regular all day ride passes from the local radio station. We got there late, so we could only stay until 4 p.m., but we were able to ride all the rides. We want to get wet in the water park the next time we come. We are all hooked on the park, and I love the old time amusement parks! They kept the park clean and everyone was having a good time! The best ride there is the water slide. You don't need a bathing suit; they put you in an inflatable raft and you can ride down the enclosed slide! It was great, and their rides are for larger individuals, so everyone can have fun!

showing its age
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/5/10
I'm not from Albuquerque and I hadn't been to Cliff's since I was a kid, the time I spent here recently with my own kids could have been better spent elsewhere. The rides are nothing to write home about, almost all one-dimensional, either forward-backward or side-to-side. They are the rides anybody would remember from twenty years back. And you can't use actual money to purchase food, toys, or anything, you have to either use a credit card or put money on a card supplied to you by the amusement park. This is of course a ruse forcing you to leave unused money behind. I know my kids did not enjoy our night there and I wish I would have taken them to a baseball game, a movie, mini-golf, almost any other place than here.‎

Waste of money
By RichC, 6/3/10
Spent 90 dollars just to get 4 of us in. (2 kids, 1 yr old and a 3 yr old). My son couldn't ride on most of the rides, even on the kiddie rides. If you have young ones, i would recommend buying only entry passes. Especially if they can't be by themselves. In situations like this you should do the "pay by the ride" option. It was a lesson learned on that one. As for the overall impression of the park--it looked run down and dirty. it definitely didn't give you the family atmosphere feeling. we will never go to this park ever again. To all others who enjoyed this place, I am glad that it worked out for you. My family will just committ ourselves to amusement parks that are worth it (Disneyland, six flags, seaworld).

Rip OFF
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/11/10
I went for a birthday back in May 2009, the rides were shut down for hours due to bad weather and during the time the rides were shut down, the staff did not notify people entering the park about the rides being shut down, once people paid to get in, the staff refused to issue refunds or Rain checks for another day. which is a rip off scheme!!!!!!!!

Love Cliff's
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/09
I have been meaning to write this review for months now, but life keeps getting in the way. But when me and my family visited Cliff's this summer we had a blast, we were greeted by wonderful customer service beginning at the front gates. The employees were very knowledgable about the new cashless system used through out the park and very helpful with guest relations. The park was clean and they had employees working diligently to keep it that way. The rides did not have huge lines and my 2 toddlers loved the Kiddie Land. They keep asking me to take them back there as soon as the park opens for there next season. We enjoyed ourselves very much and give Cliff's 2 thumbs up, for customer service, fun and cleanliness.
