showing its age

I'm not from Albuquerque and I hadn't been to Cliff's since I was a kid, the time I spent here recently with my own kids could have been better spent elsewhere. The rides are nothing to write home about, almost all one-dimensional, either forward-backward or side-to-side. They are the rides anybody would remember from twenty years back. And you can't use actual money to purchase food, toys, or anything, you have to either use a credit card or put money on a card supplied to you by the amusement park. This is of course a ruse forcing you to leave unused money behind. I know my kids did not enjoy our night there and I wish I would have taken them to a baseball game, a movie, mini-golf, almost any other place than here.
