Great place!
By Lynn, 11/11/08
This museum is an excellent showcase of the history of the atomic era. It features exhibits on the military applications of the atomic bomb, as well as exhibits on the peaceful applications of nuclear energy (nuclear medicine, environmental issues, etc). Also, you will get a taste of the pop culture aspect of the atomic era that is both enlightening and amusing. Great gift shop! You can find fun gifts you won't find at a chain store. I'll definitely go back. The museum will be moving to a bigger location in March 2009, where it will feature an extensive outdoor exhibit with B-29, B-52, F-105, part of a nuclear sub, among many others. Can't wait to see the new digs!

It's Alright
By Carlos, 08/27/05
This museum used to be located inside the local military base, but due circumstances - it's been moved off to a different location. This museum deals a lot with military history - so I would advise someone to be really interested in it before visiting. It's a great place though - lots of things for kids.
