Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf
Description
A trip to San Francisco is not complete without a trip to this attraction at Fisherman's Wharf . It features a vast collection of wax models that look like significant figures throughout time. The characters are separated by category. You will see famous American and international humanitarians, generals, dictators, scientists, artists, world leaders, athletes, movie scenes, and musicians among others. You will catch an eyeful of lifelike wax figures of celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, O.J. Simpson, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and many, many, more!
We were in San Francisco for 2 days and its was raining! In June ! We were looking for fun things to do until the wather cleared. Our kids loved the Chamber of Horrors and the electrc chair. Some of the figures are better than others. We used a Wharf Pass so saved a few dollars on the ticket. This is part of the fun of visiting the Wharf.
This Wax museum is extremely overpriced and disappointing. You would not be able to recognize anyone in it were it not for the labels set beside them. This exhibit is small and unrealistic. There are many more things in this city that would be a far better use of both your time and money.
