Book Passage Bookstore, Corte Madera

What began as a small bookstore devoted to travel guides and travel writing, now takes up two buildings. In addition to its extensive stock of literature, this local favorite has also become a virtual bookstore as well. The travel section is still one of the best in the area. There's always a lot going on here, between the reading groups, panel discussions, classes, newsletters and a continuous stream of author readings by some of the most noted writers of our time. You will find a large, friendly, and knowledgeable staff that is refreshingly passionate about books.
