What can you say about a place like Adobe Books. It is a San Francisco classic; the last real Bohemian stronghold in the Mission, persistently defying the commodification with its comfortable couches, large bowls of free food, lingering clientele, and general disarray. Amongst the countless books that have piled up around the desk and everywhere else throughout the store, you are bound to find the book you need. And if not, the banter of the regulars, whose presence here is as assured as that of the sun, is sure to enrich your existence in some way.
