Kennedy's Irish Pub & Indian Curry House Restaurant

Description

Along with the excellent variety of imported and micro-brewed beer that you would expect from a pub like this, Kennedy's has a somewhat unexpected surprise in store. The menu is North Indian, so there is not a Cornish Pastie in sight. Dishes range from meats and seafood to vegetarian, but all are delicious and spicy enough to render the beer more a necessity than an accompaniment. Pool tables, air hockey, and arcade games are plentiful, and pool is free every Wednesday. Kennedy's Happy Hour is legendary, offering pitchers and pints of beer cheaply (using a clever token system). Awesome Free WiFi and Food

WOW! A place with free WiFi that works! No issues with streaming or whatever. Awesome food and an incredible selection of beer. This is a REAL PUBLIC HOUSE and, better yet, remote office. What the boss don't know, he won't (hopefully) scream about. Beware about getting extra spicy...it's HOT!

A huge selection of beers, both bottled and on tap, and a large menu of indian dishes with very reasonable prices. Though beer prices have gone up recently, it's still not too bad, and an excellent place to have dinner and a few beers.

This place is awesome!

If you love beer and Indian food and sports and foosball and pool and air hockey, you may think you've died and gone to heaven... They have over a hundred beers, lot's of big screen TVs to watch just about any game and they serve their full menu 'til 1:00 AM. If that's not enough, they have a 2-for-1 happy hour (+ happy half-hour from 11-11:30!)AND, one of my favorite features in a bar (often sorely lacking in San Francisco)2 outdoor patios so you can enjoy a beer while basking in the sun. Like I said, AWESOME! A place like this could only exist in San Francisco - if you haven't been there yet, you should go there right now!

I'm a regular!

Irish bar.. curry house, dichotomy abounds and works at this friendly & convenient spot near North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf in SF. Great beer selection and many opportunities to BOGO (buy one, get one), happy hour, happy half-hour (11-11:30), Giants win (not often, but they're almost .500). The food is good, the appetizers are tasty, but all fried. The menu items are all decent sized (and some pancake-thing that's flipping HUGE) and taste good. In addition, they;ve got pool, foosball, air hockey and about 15 TV's with a variety of games to watch. Not much more you can ask of a bar.

Is it a dream or is it real?

Kennedy's pub and curry house has the best beer selection and mouth-watering Indian cuisine, not to mention an original South Indian menu, with dining until 1 am. It's hard to say what is drawing celebrities and musicians to Kennedy's: the foosball, internet jukebox, venue across the street, or location. Places like this don't really exist, except in dreams.

great food, drinks, and watch the game

This is one place that the locals cherish. You can eat good food, including beers, for under $20. What more can you ask for? They even have DirecTV sports packages, so you can watch just about any game live. Multiple happy hours and "buy now drink later" token system makes Kennedy's unbeatable in San Francisco. Try it, you'll like it! Check out their web site for discount food coupon.

What a great place.

Bartender Sally is loved by everybody there and she deserves it. Service is beyond excellent. Patrons seem like regulars who know each other by the first names … and Sally knows them all. To top fantastic feel this place have; you get delicious fare to go with any beer you want. Very comfortable place to relax have beer with good appetizers and have a lot of laughter. Very strongly recommended. You get all these for very little money.

Oh, Kennedy's, where shall I begin? When I lived in San Francisco, we called Kennedy's "Our living room". It's a fantastic place that manages to attract the kind of people you want to be friends with. On top of that, they have over 100 beers with 40 on draft. On top of that, their food is fantastic and you can't find prices like it anywhere else in the city. (Or any city for that matter.) The location is a great one with fun all around and you're always guaranteed a bartender that you'll love. I can't say anything more about it. I love it. We love it. You'll love it.

What a great place for seasoned travelers or San Francisco Experienced

My wife and I stopped in just for grins for a $2 Guiness. The bar seemed at first a dive. But boy oh boy...what a surprise! The people were real and wonderful; a veritable microcosm. The female bar maids were the most polished professional top quality " CHEERS-STYLE" I have ever encountered. My wife and I went in for ten minutes and stayed three hours and came back two days later. This is a GREAT place for those who want a good experience outside of the touristy places. Please don't tell anybody! This place we want to stay just like it is.
