Pilsner Inn, San Francisco

This is on the top of my list of gay bars in the Castro. I love the patio which is allegedly for smokers but it's a nice place to hang out even if you aren't a smoker. I used to live in San Diego and every bar had a patio. I wish SF had more. And this bar has a lot of male clientele but I'm female and feel right at home here. Good selection of imported and draft beers. If you don't like "scenes" but want a nice place for a drink this is it. Does get extremely packed especially at night. It opens pretty early (about 10 am I think) if you want a more quiet scene.
