You will have to search to find this pizzeria. The unobtrusive entrance on Valencia street can easily escape those who are not looking specifically for it. The large booths and checkered tablecloths combined with the friendly service create a cozy atmosphere that makes this place a favorite among neighborhood residents. The restaurant is known for its Pesto Pizza, a crisp thin-crust pizza with basil and pesto baked in the crust. The diner can chose from a variety of pizza toppings ranging from the traditional to the nouveau, including leeks, Kalamata olives, and smoked pork.
This has to be the worst pizza experience of my life. I should have stayed home and heated up a frozen Trader Joes, far better I assure you. The pie was burned, (all I saw were) there was hardly any cheese or sauce, just burned bread like substance shaped like a pizza. The salad special tasted like dirt with no dressing, (sent it back for the house, even worse). The staff was snotty. I heard this place was great, couldn't wait to try it and was terribly disappointed. Doesnt anyone who like's this place have taste buds?????????????????????????????
this is a high class pizza parlor with thin crust pizzas. The pizzas don't cost much more than a standard pizza parlors, but the extras, home grown salads and desserts, bring the price up a bit. The pizzas are very good but not as filling as standard crust pizzas, so it will end up costing a bit more. It's hard to beat, though.
