A Must Late Night Stop
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/19/06
A bona fide institution in Chinatown. The safest restaurant in the City at any hour because alot of cops eat here.
the crispy noodles is good- the porridge is good- the beef chow fun is fantabulous. The internet boomed and busted, faddy restaurants come and go but you can bet your last dollar Yuet Lee is the same now as it was 10 years ago (though they changed to newer tables and chairs about a year ago- shocked me.)
Overlook the red-eyed patrons in the joint, and the service can come across as curt- but they are efficient- and if you go there long enough like I have- they may even be nice to you. If you are sleepless in SF, come down there for a late night bite- you may be surprised whom you see eating there.
Parking can be tough but it's worth it( avoid parking on the chinatown side of columbus- the walk can make you lose your appetite real quick.)
