I recently ordered take out for myself and my husband. It was delivered promptly but the food itself was not good at all. The lo mein was mushy noodles with a little bit of beef, and that was it. The mei fun noodles were bland and had very little ingredients in it as well. The wontons were over cooked, made with a meat that had no color. The main entree, beef pepper steak was tolerable if you could get passed the way the beef looked. I would not recommend this place! Keep looking!
when you order out the food its wonderful, I love the Crab Rangoon..
the buffet is very good and its faster, makes my life easier when im in a rush and want to eat chinese..
the thing with the buffet is that you have to go in the right time durin the day, sometimes is slow for them so the food sits there, they try hard to keep the food fresh, but its hard when noone comes in. it goes to waste.. so i can understand.. best time for buffet is 11:30am to 12:30 pm.. or go when its really busy, they change the food constantly..
i personally love goin there. one of my fav places to eat..the staff is very friendly...
Do yourself a favor & skip this dump. From the dirty decor to the lacking selection. I stopped in after taking in a movie & should've looked at what they had to offer before sitting down. Everything was low, had to wait for them to replenish & tasted horrible! What I went to pay the person working the register was clueless too & when I told her I wouldn't be coming back anytime soon she just smiled-I bet she hears it often. Not even worth the $5.79 lunch price, next time will go to the Olive Garden.
3/25/06 - My two children and I recently ate at this restaurant at 6:15 p.m. and there were only four other people in the place. To be perfectly honest - a very poor dinning experience. The food either tasted bad or else just plain tasteless. The rug is dirty and definitely shows its wear. It's hard to imagine this restaurant used to seve the best Chineese food around but things have certainly changed. Perhaps had I ordered off of the menu, it may have been different - who knows? I can't imagine there are different cooks for the buffet vs. the menu orders?
