Can't believe this place even got one negative review...looks like the same person...but I want to tell you the food and the people there are fabulous...I have yet to find a better place for fajitas, and their mocajete is out of this world...Ive tried everything on their menu and its all great...The most authentic mexican cooking I've been able to find... Thumbs way up
My stomach hurt after eating the wanna be salsa. It looked like jello.
Bad male waiter who ignored us and my fajita's were rubbery.
The interior was pretty cool. But, i like to feel satisfied after a meal the ceiling fans or the wall pictures did nothing for me.
Service was poor and the food was awful. What happened to El Pescador. Apparently, there has been a name change. I dont think its the same people from El Pescador. Why oh why must there be changes in this world. The food is dry and bland. I wouldnt feed the stale, lard drenched tortilla chips to my worst enemy. I hope this place goes under.
its about time we get a restaurant with the right combination. family owned and operated for almost five years now. they moved to a new location just up the street from the former place. La Casita Olvera's the staff is very friendly and helpful. the food is excellent and if its your birthday be ready for a serenade and complimentary birthday flan. I especially like Sunday Champagne Brunch with live Mariachi. But don't forget Margarita Madness Monday and Kids Eat Free Tuesday. La Casita Olvera is family owned and operated and the owner or one of his many sons are a welcome respite. Brunch Lunch or Dinner any day of the week once you leave La Casita Olvera you'll want to come back.
