The place moved a few doors down and has a NEW owner.....not Pete,,,,It is horrible now....I posted it was the greatest and it WAS. Now I can truly say it is awful...Don't even bother unless you need a disappointment. Food quality is poor. Service Worse. I miss Pete and Sim......
Not sure what the other reviewers got, but the food we got was terrible. The pad Thai noodles were soggy and the chicken was chewy, the rice tasted like it was cooked and then microwaved and the beef dish was swimming in a swamp of inedible sauce. And $47 to boot!
Yes, as others have posted Kura Thai is amazing. The attention to detail was perfect and the entire crew consists of (Gop) a nickname for the waiter and in the kitchen is the main cook (SIM) and the Owner / operator (Pete). The same three people always available to make the food and your visit perfect. I've tried everything , but I favor the Pad Prik King with Beef. Simple and always beautiful. Green beans and beef never tasted so good. Try it all, I have. Enjoy......Myk
Krua Thai, in my opinion, has the best Thai food in town. Their prices are great, portions very generous and the food is fantastic. Their tom-ka-gai is out of this world, green curry is exceptional and my I particularly love their clear noodle salad, larb and summer rolls. I have never been disappointed at Krua and the waiter (Gop) is super friendly. If you don't mind eating at a small, hole-in-the-wall style restaurant without any frills, you will be really glad you gave this place a try.
