Soon's Sushi Cafe, Kenosha

Great food, excellent fellowship on a personal level. The down home feeling of love and companionship. You will not leave disappointed, if you do its all on you.

A few of my friends say this is the best place in town for sushi and convinced me to go. And I was very unimpressed. Now It’s an ok place if you’re new to Japanese food, but if you want higher quality sushi or are more experienced in eating Japanese food please go somewhere else. #1 the place has a funky fishy smell and that is a dead giveaway of fish that’s not fresh. The preparation was also very sloppy. Sushi is edible art it shouldn’t be sloppy. Honada is much better, and Honada is only average in my book. But eat it if u like it.

My husband and I have been going to Soon's for 4 years. Their portions are better than any other sushi restaurant we have tried. Soon is such a nice person and always has a smile on her face. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

I didnt enjoy Soons that much. I was excited to eat some sushi but the sushi was so-so at best. The server didnt pay much attention to my table, it seemed they knew the other customers on a personal level but didnt treat my table with the same amount of respect. It smelled a little funky too

I think Soon's Sushi Cafe is absolutely wonderful. I went there for the first time and the variety of foods as well as the taste of what I ordered was awesome! I really missed Korean food after having visited the country and Soon's brings me back to the good healthy food I grew to love.

The sushi is amazing, perfect for those just trying it out or for those who have an experienced pallet. And for those who arn't interested in sushi, there are regular menu items that are to die for (like steak and shrimp hibachi). You gotta try the edimame!
