We tried the Sunday night all you can eat chicken and a scallop appetizer. We had not eaten here for quite awhile, and were very disappointed. The cooked spinach with the 4 scallops(which were very small) was so salty it was not edible. After telling the waitress, she just ignored the complaint. The chicken had a funny taste and consistency. The salad bar and rolls were good.
Not good food. the atmosphere is nice and the view of the lake is nice. I have been there twice in the last 6 months and both times the food was over priced and bad. They have high end choices but the cooking doesnt match. I would not recommend eating here.
I am a big fan for this resturant. I believe that they have excellent food for a fair price. They have great atmosphere and a beautiful view ( which includes seating on the patio in the summer months and ocassional live music). They do get busy on the weekend however, so you may want to plan ahead and make a reservation.
What a poor excuse for a restaurant. Went there tonight and ordered the blackened shark and my wife ordered the prime rib. They microwaved the shark til it was so tough I couldn't even cut with a steak knife. The prime rib was way overcooked as well. Went I sent it back, the waitress came back and said, the cook couldn't make another one because he had no idea how to prepare it right! Not to mention that they seated us at a table with a dirty-a$$ tablecloth with bugs crawling acrossed it. Trust me when I say, we won't ever go back! It's not even a one-star rating. I had to give it that in order to post this.
Always great food and friendly service at a fair price. Very nice setting on the lake, every table has a sunset view if you time it properly, with outside dining in nicer weather. The Sunday brunch is outstanding as well. I would not call it a seafood restaurant, the menu is pretty well rounded. Biggest downside is how busy they get on the weekends.
My wife and I visited the Cooper Dock on a recent Friday night and were very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. On that very night thirty years ago we dined overlooking Lake Tahoe and compared the view at the Cooper Dock. They have a great menu with moderate prices. It's always been busy when we visit but well worth a short wait.
The Copper Dock is my favorite for a Sunday Brunch. The food is excellent and great, friendly service. Also great view of Friess Lake through the huge picture windows. Can't speak to the regular menu dining because i've only been there for their brunch.
The Sunday Brunch is good, and highly recommended. Evening dining is okay, never liked it as much as other restuarants in the area. View of Friess Lake in the dining room is excellent. As stated before, Sunday Brunch is recommended, but is a bit pricey.
