I've been to a lot of Japanese sushi restaurants all over the world, but I found Nobu's the best for its value. I use Nobu's as the baseline and I have not found any sushi restaurants that can measure up to its quality. Highly recommend if you want to taste what a true sushi is supposed to taste like.
We went to nobu restaurant today. The food was good . But it was over priced. Vine is served in such a small glass and over all I am not satisfied with this place. Its overpriced for a small suburban sushi restaurant.
I have enjoyed the sushi made by Nobu's owner for many years, following him to the various restaurants at which he has worked. I am glad he finally opened his own restaurant. His sushi always arrives at the perfect temperature and is beautifully presented. He never forgets a customer and always has a warm greeting for patrons. I highly recommend Nobu's for sushi in the Woodfield area.
Wow, moved here from Colorado about a year ago and have been coming here ever since. I've tried many resturants in the local area and my fiance and myself have decided that Nobu's is the best. I would recommend the rainbow roll or the shrip tempura maki.
Terrible place! Edamames were so cold my teeth hurt. The spicy tuna was the spiciest I've ever had -- and I eat sushi frequently-- none of us four could eat it. We had waited more than 30 minutes for our sushi so we didn't want to deal sending anything back. The place wasn't that busy, they were just very, very slow. I would give negative score if possible.
This is the best sushi around... the atmosphere is great, the staff is so friendly, and most importantly the food is amazing! Nobu's offers a much greater variety than Benihana, plus the food is fresher with better hours.
I have recommended this place to everyone I know!
