If you have nothing better to do than sit in a hot restaurant all day, then stop by Crossroads. My wife and I took her brother and his wife to eat here and we waited and waited and waited and finally got drinks, then we waited and waited and waited and finally someone took our orders, and then we waited and waited and waited and after waiting over an hour after ordering, we got up and paid for our drinks and left. If the restaurant had been busy, I could understand, but it was a weekday and the place wasn't crowded at all. I'd eaten there a time or two before and the wait had always been long, but the last time we went there was preposterous. That was, as I recall, about 1987 or 1988. We were so disgusted at the poor service that we have never returned. And, from what friends have told me, the service still is bad! How this place stays open, I'll never understand...
