I have been there a few times and its always the same story. The person behind the counter has no idea what is even on the menu. There is no use of gloves when preparing food right after taking money and touching other things. The employees shirts are stained and nasty looking. The order has NEVER been right and when I asked (on two occasions) for it to be changed, they still didn't get it right. After I noticed the nastiness of the place, I won't go back.
My grandchildren and I went to the Provo Dairy Queen on Thursday evening and Friday evening (early September 2007) and both times the preparation area was a mess. There were toppings spilled all over the stainless steel containers, the floor was filthy, the employees' shirts were filthy, and the girl who served me had eczema all over her hands. The banana for my banana split was black inside and I canceled my order. My granddaughter's was also black but we didn't realize it until we got back to our hotel room. The service was extremely slow with 8 to 10 people in line. The drive-in window was working faster. There is not enough room behind the counter for the workers to move around. The employees should take a few minutes to clean up and change their shirts. It looked like they'd worn them for days. At least we didn't get sick but there needs to be some changes made. Thank you.
