If you pack a passion for authentic Asian cuisine, perhaps this all you can eat buffet would not be your ideal dining destination. However, if you have a ravenous case of the munchies and 10 dollars to spare, the Jade Garden could be just what the doctor ordered. You can quickly fill up on delicious dumplings, stuffed shrimp and General Tsoo chicken. The fried rice was under cooked; but that doesnt matter when focused on stuffed mushrooms. The coconut shrimp was simmered in a rich creamy sauce with a hint of plum and no discernable coconut. A big surprise early in the buffet sequence was an enormous juicy cut your own beef pot roast. It was rare in the center, medium-well farther out and succulent through and through.
Like many similar operations, the Jade Garden buffet tends to deviate from the concept of Chinese food. Maybe I am wrong. Perhaps breaded fried onion rings date back to the Ming Dynasty. As long as you are not stuck up about real Asian cuisine, the Jade Garden is clean and spacious with a friendly, attentive staff and unlimited portions of magnificent munchies. Enjoy!
I enjoyed their food. Always used to order take out from work. They have overcharged me twice now. The second time I called them because it was over almost ten dollars. I tried to explain the mix up and they insisted they were correct. I'm sorry I own a calculator and I can add. Lost my business for good!
