Thai Star Restaurant, Norcross

This is the first online review I am writing about a restaurant, and that s because the food and service were exceptionally poor. I actually wish I could give this place zero stars. My fiance and I ordered separate meals; his tasted fine, but mine was awful. Since the server never came to our table to check on how we were doing, we had to wait to catch someone s attention before we could let them know the food was unsatisfactory. Once I informed the server that my food was so salty that it was not edible, the already negative experience only went further downhill. To make a long story short: only eat here if you re looking for bad tasting food and poor service.

I am very disappointed with the food and service. We waited for more than 20 min to be seated. We had to ask server to take our order after we waited 20 min. People are very unprofessional and slow.

The food is great, but the service is lousy! I've always gone to the restaurant during the week at lunch hour. Weekend/Evening may have different servers, so you may experience better service at those time.

The food is good but the serves is ok. The staff takes your order but does not check up on you. I like the sushi and really do not eat the thai food here.

This is by far the best Thai restaurant I have visited. I have been a Thai Star patron since 1999 and have never had a bad meal. The ambiance and service are fabulous, and prices are quite reasonable. I have tried numerous other Thai restaurants throughout Atlanta and none compare to Thai Star. The chicken massaman and chicken Coconut Milk soup are highly recommended.

Went there twice. Second time was the last time. Ordered duck dish. Cut into it. Red and undefrosted! They took it back without comment and not a word of apology. Did NOT order anything else. Waited for wife to finish her curry and left...forever. Try Thai of Norcross for good food and reasonable prices.

Excellent place for Thai food! I strongly disagree w/ the previous review. It is a family owned restaurant that has a lot of class. I've been going there for several years and have enjoyed a variety of items on the menu. The variety and taste are far superior than most of its competitors in the metro area.
