Best corn beef sandwich ever. Great bread & 2 kinds of pickles. I can't believe how much meat is on the sandwich. First place I go to eat when I visit my mother.

Amazing value. a medium size salad is as big as your head! Feeds 3-4 easy. The decor has now been updated from the tired 70's feel and yet this is still not an attractive place to eat BUT the food is the main star. Sure the amount of food is huge BUT the real story is the quality of the meats, especially the corned beef. A good indication of how good a restaurant is can be judged by the customer base and all walks of life can be found here everyday. No point in eating here if your not hungrey or on a diet. I have never seen anyone leaving without a to-go box. Its just amazing.

A great place! The corned beef and pastrami are piled high and you have your choice of new or regular dills! The staff adds to the ambience in an old world way! Now that's a deli!

The Bread Basket is what the extremely overrated Zingerman's claims to be: a TRUE classic Jewish deli. Along with Steve's Deli, the BB is how delis used to be in Detroit. Huge combo sandwiches, great corned beef, pastrami and roast turkey lead the way. The best old and new dills around along with classic cole slaw, potato salad and rice pudding. Treat yourself to this place!
