The mood at this split level restaurant is casual and friendly, and the service comes with a smile. Spacious tables and comfortable booths make for great perches to dine and read the newspaper. The breakfast menu serves the usual fare of omelets, pancakes and waffles. Lunch options feature burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. For dinner try the Spit Roasted Natural Chicken or many of the tofu dishes. Coffees, lattes, smoothies and spiced teas dominate the drink list.
The food is alright, but WAY too expensive. I mean it's fresh ingredients, so that's great, but I'm pretty sure the only thing they season are the potatoes. I've been there a few times because my friend is all about the organic and usually pays for me, but honestly, the food is really bland. If memory serves me right, it costs $1.75 to get a very very tiny amount of real Maple Syrup. I know real Syrup is expensive, but the amount they give you is laughable. Breakfast for two can be well over $40. Overall, I'd say skip on down 28th a little further to Canyon and hit The Buff or Original Pancake House (not IHOP, it's different and way better and is around the corner from IHOP) instead. Both are still on the pricier end for breakfast, but offer much better food and service.
Gross food. Overpriced. If you want real food that's close to this awful place, go to Raz Casas down Pearl St., or Ladisio in the 29th street mall. Ladisio has a fantastic and affordable happy hour, 3-6 pm.
One of the best restaurants in Boulder
I really like Turleys the food I always good so is the service. The food is good quality and put together nice. It is your basic restaurant type meals burgers and sandwiches; they also have a lot of special drinks and juices. Turleys has always been constantly good whenever I went which is unusual in a lot of Boulder restaurants, but I have always had a good meal and good service. The atmosphere is nice spacious laid back nice tables and good windows and lighting
I would recommend Turleys for a good meal reasonably priced
The food was great, the service fast and the atmosphere wonderful. I had never had Buffalo before, and the Burger, with half the fat was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I will be back with my family.
Turleys has always been one of my favorites. It passes itself off as boulder-lite and that's just what it is. Not as eccentric as some of the smaller cafes, but not as boring as a Rod Robin or Applebees.
