Sushi Zushi - Stone Oak, San Antonio

The absolute best sushi place I ve ever been to! Great classy lounge music, great lighting, great service, and great food! They have a whole vegan section in their menu and trust me everything I had was to die for! Had the vegetable gyoza and tempura vegetables as an appetizer, as well as the vegetable roll, tropical roll, and spicy tempura roll! Our server Joel was the best waiter possible. I was extremely impressed! Definitely my new spot!

Not very good. The fish was warm and the service sucked. The drinks were delicious, but not worth the price. Expensive for mediocre sushi!

I'M VERY DISAPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AT SUSHI ZUSHI OF STONE OAK. wE USED TO ENJOY THAT PLACE BUT NOT ANYMORE. WE WERE THERE ON A SUNDAY AND HAD TO WAIT HOURS FOR THE HOSTESS TO SIT US, SHE WASN'T AT THE ENTRANCE AND HAD TO ASK A WAITER TO CALL HER. tHE SECOND SUNDAY (15 DAYS LATER), THE SAME THING HAPEND, IT'S INCREDIBLE THAT YOU GET IN A RESTAURANT AND THERE IS NOBODY THERE TO GIVE YOU A TABLE, WE WAIT A LOT AND AGAIN, MY HUSBAND HAD TO TELL A WAITER TO CALL THE HOSTESS. FINALLY SET IN OUR TABLE WE HAD, AGAIN, TO WAIT TOO LONG FOR THE WAITER TO SHOW, IT TOOK HOURS FOR HIM TO BRING US OUR DRINKS AND FOOD, I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER ABOUT THE TERRIBLE SERVICE AND SHE DIDN'T APOLOGISE, IN FACT SHE WAS A LITTLE RUDE MAKING US FEEL THAT SHE DIDN'T CARE. WE DON'T FIND THIS PLACE ATRACTIVE ANYMORE. WE ARE FROM MEXICO CITY AND WE LOVE THE SOY SAUCE WITH LIME ON IT BUT EVEN THAT WE WILL THINK TWICE TO COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to agree with the person below, I went there the other day and I was still hungry, makes me not want to eat sushi anymore. Afterward i went to a fast food. Also the servers forget what you order, I never got my second order because I was still hungry. They didn't charge but wouldn't have mind to pay extra for more food. But they forgot. The presentation is great, food is good, but it does get a little pricey, and service does need a little work.

If you're thinking about going to Sushi Zushi for some fantastic sushi at a decent price, prepare to be dissappointed. The sushi here is mediocre at best. The staff can be rude. Everything on the menu costs $2-$5 more than you'd pay elsewhere in town. Every time I go here I end up going to a fast food place afterwards because I'm still hungry. If you want some great sushi for a good price, I'd suggest checking out Godai's Sushi on West Ave.

I really love this restaurant. For dining in, the service is great -- no complaints ever. It is hip and stylish which makes a nice date...A little pretentious -- yes, but that never hurt anyone. Plus, it could just be the Stone Oak location. Anyhow, the bartenders are great. For take out - love it! Just as good as in the restaurant. They always get the order right. I usually order online b/c it is easier for me...If you call there is a lot of backround noise. Delivery - What a treat! I order online as well. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Also, this is a fusion of Japanese and Mexican, so it is not for the sushi purist, however, all will enjoy - and then some.

The menu is extensive and provides good, fresh sashimi and americanized/texas sushi rolls that are creative in their ingredients and use fresh fish. The only downside is that it is pricey, you'll need to spend $30 per person to have a good meal.

While I find the table service at the restaurant a little slow, their online delivery service is fabulous! I've used it many times, and most of the time have my order within 45 minutes. Many of the items aren't strictly traditional Japanese, but it's all very very tasty. The food is a bit on the pricey side, even for Japanese. However, the convenience of delivery, especially the excellent on-line ordering available on their website, makes it worthwhile.

I love this place, any chance I get, im there, little pricey but well worth it. This place got me hooked on sushi! Tried at other places and just don't compare to here. Someone always seems to get sick whenever we eat it anywhere else!
