Church's Chicken, Bay City

Do go here, I have lived in Bay City most of my life, I worked at Church's in high school. It has changed so much through the years. The quality of food, cleaniness, enployee standards are so low. What happen to Church's Chicken. It use to have pride, pride in there food, cleaniness, friendly service. I guess that what happens with the company going franchise and not moniters the owners.

What happened? I ordered three legs and a small okra? Dughhh... I got a bisqite, more fries than okra, the okra was way over cooked... When I tried calling them, there was no answer, and when I drove back to their store, thaey said they were having phone peoblems???? Does that account for the afro American I witnessed coming out from the back while I was placing my order? I went back and recieved a refund for the "CRAPPY: food from this establishment, but what about my time, travel, and gas money? Go Figure!!! Barry Dale Reckaway 255 cr 214 Bay City,Texas 77414

Where is the food inspector? Who is it? Is there even one in Bay City?

Oh don't go here. The food and service is TERRIBLE. The manager says "We're working on it." Okay, so in the mean time we get 1/2 undercooked chicken and 1/2 burnt chicken. I will never go back here again! We moved to Bay City from Kerrville. The Church's in Kerrville is awesome. What happened here? This dinner was a waist of my hard earned money!

I moved here from Angleton recently, and I love the Angleton Churches Chicken. Their food is excellent and their store is always full of people. On the otherhand, the Bay City store is always empty and until tonight, I wondered why......I was served under-cooked chicken strips, stale buscuits, and weird tasting cole slaw! I went back for a refund but they talked me into a 15 piece mixed for my troubles, it was OK. I was also charged a "conv fee" for using my debit card. I told the manager that it is against Texas Law to charge the customer a surcharge for using a debit card, and that I already pay a fee at my bank when I use it as a debit card, the answer was DUHHHHHHH! So I am going to report them to the State of Texas for the surcharge, and complain to their corporate office about the low food quality (probably get some cupons that I'll never use, ha ha). I read off of the Church's web site that its philopshy of success is the simplicity of operation. But, What I have experiences in the local store deprive there customer from nice eating eviroment, friendly, fast service, with quality food. These things I have not gotten from the local Church;'s Chicken from my last couple of visits. I have seen the Church;s Chicken business deterate through the last few years. Church's Chicken needs to evalute this franchise fast food values and improve on them to stay in business. I would not recommend this place to anyone until they clean the place up and improve there service.
