Tipton's Cafe, Greeneville

I LOVE Tipton's Cafe, I am 45 years old and I have eat there for 40 years!! I live in NC and went to Greene Co.. weekly, and mom and dad always took me to Tipton's for lunch, and i still go everytime I am out there. They have the best cheeseburgers in the world, MY FAVORITE..Edna, Jim and Michelle thanks for a special place!!

I stopped in to eat and I mean it is the best food I think I have ever eaten. Homemade Southern style cooking just like granny used to make it. I will be back to visit again.

this place has the BEST biscuits and gravy...especially at 4 am... its a tradition for most, good times!!!!

this is one of the best little diners i have ever been in .. im from texas and go to school in greeneville. this place was the first place recomended to me for some good home cookin. from hamburgers to biscuits and gravy everything there is fantastic. the hours take a little getting used to .. but its worth the time and money to go there

It's a tiny little place that is kinda kept quiet unless you are local....and they have the best cheeseburgers and breakfast in town! I encourage everyone to try it! The atmosphere is really cool too....so friendly...almost family!

Tipton's is the best little place in Greeneville. The best time to visit this venue is late at night. The people are absolutly wonderful, their friendlyness and laidback personalities are hard to come by these days. The other customers are also always interesting, people just sit around and chat like they've known each others for years. Everything is homemade and cooked right there in front of you. The food is wonderful...expecially the biscuits & gravy...just get the special!!

We were in Greeneville on a mini-vacation. This happens to be the town where my husband grew up and he had always bragged to me about how good the food was. Well, I was finally able to eat here and I can say that it is the bets food ever. The biscuits & gravy are unbelievably excellent. I love them!!! I also suggest getting a friend donut - so good! We were able to eat myself, my husband and our son for a whopping $9!! You can't beat that! I highly recommend this place if you're in Greeneville or even just craviing a good plate of biscuits & gravy!!

I love Tipton's Cafe! It's a hole in the wall. It opens at 11pm and is open until like 3 the next day. They have the best burgers and breakfast and it is very affordable. I also love their friend donuts with the syrup in the middle...yum I love going there at night! Jim is a great cook! You just gotta love Jim and the gang!

This just the greatest little hole in the wall place with great food and really nice people! Awesome biscuits and gravy and grits and good daily specials! We will back, all the way from PA!
