The absolute best food around. Home made Italian food at its best.

For the house salad they give you a very small pile of lettuce, carrots, one cucumber slice, and one tomoato. I got the chicken Alfredo, the chicken tasted like it was from a can. We also got the Chicken parmesan, the sauce looked like it was watered down, and tasted like it also. The waitress took forever to bring our check to our table also. Would never go back, will go to olive garden, as they are much better and around the same price.

I went yesterday with my husband and 2 children. The staff was very friendly to me as well as my children. The seafood app simply outstanding. My husband had the stuffed chicken parmigiana and I had the veal piccata. Both were simply delicious. My husband was raised and Europe and wanted to try the spaghetti ice cream for dessert and he absolutely loved it, as did our children, of course. I had tiramisu. It was absolutely delicious. My family and I will definitely be back again. I am not sure when those other people went to this restaurant but I went an hour before closing and they were still courteous and very professional even with us coming at such a late hour.

These folks run a clean, relaxed sit down Italian eatery. The food is delicious, particularly the Tiramisu.

Took my hubby and son to eat there once. Food was very yucky. The mushroom app tasted disgusting and my pasta had a hair in it. When I told the lady and showed her my plate she took it from me with no explination. Got the bill and paid full price for my hairy meal. Do Not Go There! Crappy service and crappy food.

The only Italian lady there was rude. The cooks are undocumented mexicans. Is not authentic italian food. Any body who can make spagetii can cook better then the mexicans. I'm not being racial, my boyfriend is mexican but that food was not real authentic italian food. The service is terrible and the food well, lets just say my 10 year old daughter can cook better.

Very Disappointed. we went to this resteraunt becxause of all the good reviews. we didnt recieve any of the good service that everyone was talking about... and the food was ok,... but notheing to rant and rave over. the lady forgot my lemons several times, and the italian dressing is extremely oily.... near the end of the meal the check was dropped off and that was it,... we wanted to order dessert but never got the chance too as she never returned untill the bill was standing up.... VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!

La Rosa is probably the best place to eat in Havelock. My husband is a Marine like the owners husband and we were regulars there. We had to move away for a couple of years and really missed the homemade food. We are now back in Jacksonville and will still drive one hour just to eat there. About the pizza, you should definately try it. It is made from scratch an worth it!!!!!!

I am a regular at this restaurant. The personnel are friendly and the food is amazing. You are greated with a smile and leave with a full belly. It's a quiet establishment and takes you to Italy with the wonderful display if pictures scattered throughout the tables. They have a buffet, food to go, and a variety selection of food that will satisfy anyone's taste buds. Trust me! Eat here!

I have only been one time that the one time I went the food was not good to me.
