Description
Eleven Eleven Mississippi blends old and new world culinary tradition to create signature Tuscan & Northern California cuisine in a one of a kind atmosphere. Eleven Eleven Mississippi is located in the heart of the beautiful Lafayette Square neighborhood & situated in a restored historic brick warehouse. Their reputation for exceptional cuisine & wine delivered with unprecedented style has made Eleven Eleven Mississippi St. Louis' most exciting destination restaurant. Just minutes from downtown St. Louis, Eleven Eleven Mississippi offers a casual rustic yet upscale & trendy atmosphere. The creative use of space is accentuated by an open display kitchen where the oak fired brick oven takes center stage as well as a glass enclosed wine cellar designed to double as a private dining area. The natural elements of hardwoods, brick, & copper along with two fireplaces situated in the main dining room & loft lounge create a cozy inviting atmosphere suitable for any occasion.
What a disapointment! 3 of us looking forward to a fantastic evening and all 3 main entrees were served at barely room temperature. First of all several dishes that are shown on the on-line menu were not available. We regrouped and decided on a strip steak special and the rabbit. The steak was over cooked but did have good flavor. All side dishes were flavorless. The rabitt was the most disapointing of all, in both taste and lack of tenderness and the polenta boring. The one outstanding dish was the appetizer of mussels in an excellent sauce. Needless to say we will not return.
Service is fantastic. We always sit at the bar when we go and the service can't be beat Jen, the bartender/manager (?) is great! She mixes amazing drinks and gives exceptional service!
I have been to many resturants in STL and this ranks up there as one of the best. They service was very personal and the food was AWESOME! My girlfriend and I went here for our 3rd anniversary and while making reservations they made that the focus of our meal, bringing champange, flowers and treating us like royalty. I love this place and will go back very soon.
This resturaunt is visually beautiful and you are just awe struck when you walk in. The bar is beautiful and if you are there for dinner you will not be dissapointed. The fireplaces.....the seating.....the feel....warm and cozy and you don't want to go home. The food was great and the service are so friendly and really make you feel comfortable. I will be going back. You should check it out. Perfect for a quiet dinner with that special someone or if you want to just go to a nice place to sit at the bar and enjoy people's company.
