Just came back from my stay there for 2 nights (March 30, 2010) and while the hotel looks nice from the outside, it is not the greatest. The rooms are so-so and need better lighting. The room safe was a plus. The restaurant is WAY overpriced, 10 bucks for pancakes only. Room rate was very expensive. Unfortunately there aren't many choices in the small town of Tusayan.

when i visited 5-23 07 there was no hot water nor any pressure.the staff very young and unprofessional, they were rude and very short.the room was ok but the location was good.the restaurant had the problem as the hotel.understaffed, untrained, unprofessional,no experience due to high employee turnover probably, the food was below avg. and overpriced.

We will never go back.
By Shirley, 2/20/06
They put us in one room with dog hair all over the comforters and then tried to transfer us to another room when we complained and when we got to that room it was full of dog hair also. Prices in February were exhorbitant as the Holiday Inn Express with internet in the room and clean as a pin for $56.00 a night was well worth our moving from the Grand Hotel to the Holiday Inn Express across the street. Your dog will love the beds.
