Luckily for my girlfriend and me my brother has lived in Hawaii now for over a year. This helped us save an incredible amount of money, and also provided us with a great "tour guide" for the island during our week long trip! We flew in from Ohio, so the time change was huge for us. After arriving late at night, my brother woke us up early the next morning to hike to the top of Diamond Head to see the sun rise. It was a struggle to wake up, but it was totally worth it.
