Arthurs Restaurant, Mentone

My wife an I have been going to Arthurs for several years an have never had a problem there.Everyone treats you like family an doesn't hurry you up so they can have tthe table for the next customer. Debbie the owner always greets you when you enter the restaurant an get you a table as soon as possible.The waitresses are always friendly an respond almost as soon as you walk in. We will be going there for a long time to come. The people with the bad reviews must have went in with a chip on there shoulder cause I can't believe they were treated bad at Authurs.

Incredible food, large portions and great service by a friendly staff. I have been eating here for over 8 years and it is one of my favorite places to eat anywhere.

Arthurs is really a breakfast place that happens to serve lunch too. They cut out dinners a while ago so the owner could relax a bit. The portions are big and they have the typical offerings of eggs, pancakes, and omelettes plus some odds and ends. They have a selection of breakfast meats to choose from beyond bacon and sausage -- I like the polish sausage and the ham. The country fried steak is great and the biscuits and gravy that go with them are phenomenal (you can also get them instead of toast with most meals). The omelettes are huge and if you can't find one to your liking you can 'build your own'. You can choose hash browns or country potatoes both of which are tasty. This is a simple place that looks like it was converted from an old house which is very fitting for Mentone, if you know what I mean. They only have a few booths with the rest being tables and chairs. Don't expect a plush dining experience here, it is more like eating in your breakfast nook at home -- only with 20 other people in there with you. They have three main eating areas including the patio which is covered and in use year round. They have ample parking so long as you don't mind parking on the dirt lot next door during the busy times.

HORRIBLE!!! Food was fair however the was atmosphere was very uncomfortable as the manager I guess (girl named STACEY) would loudly humiliate the other waitresses... She made one woman cry and the poor thing just kept trying to do a good job while this cow of a woman berated her from across the room..It was AWFUL! We were there with a large party, all of which have said they will never come back! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!

The best biscuits and gravy! Awesome omlettes! Yummy waffles! The ladies here are the best. They remember faces. A great place to eat. I've never had a bad meal here.

Nice to walk on and hear a Hello and welcome. Seated on patio. Promp drink service, and the breakfast we all ordered were great.. Yummy hash & eggs, everyone else enjoy there breakfast as well. Never ending cup of coffee--huge bonus !! I will stop in again and try dinner menu they told us about on thursday & friday only.. :( You need more nights !!
