Ok, we arrived there and were welcomed by the hostess. We were 8 people and she found us a table in 5 minutes (the place was crowded). Immediately after that the waiter served us Water, Bread, & spicy Olive oil - can you say yum. We then ordered and all sorts of appetizers like calamari, bruscetta, Salad, & Ahi Tuna Carpaccio. Oh my god, we licked those plates clean in 10 minutes, everything was tasty and flavorful. Then we got to the main course which was consisted of bunch of plates for us to share. Grilled Halibut, Lamb Shank, Salom with Lemon Caper Sauce, Scallops, Lobster and couple other plates. Let me just tell you everything was delicious and flavorful. I have been to places that charges more but the food is not as good or not even close. Their wine list is amazing. It has average wine up to amazing and wine for both the red and white. We also ordered a variety of deserts which was very well presented and yummy. Hope you enjoy your food and experience over there like we did.
We ate dinner here on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed both inside and out, and it appeared that there were only two servers outside. We received our drinks and appetizers in a timely fashion. The bruschetta was very good, and the calamari was awesome. However, there seemed to be a little bit of a lag receiving our entrees. The table next to us had actually received their entrees, and we'd been there and ordered before them! Anyhow, when our food came, it was quite good. We had the farfalle dish which was ok; the gnocchi which melted in your mouth and was quite tasty; the seafood cannelloni which was very good; and the veal which was also very good. The desserts were great! The insde of the restaurant looked fairly small, so we ate outside in the alley area which was quite charming since it had been a nice day. Anyway, I'd go back, but maybe not on weekend evening, as service can be slow.
Nothing wrong with the food here if you get it. Severly understaffed, actually saw emergency replacement drive down Pine Street the wrong way and park illegally in alley entrance. But to no avail. Would be a great place, if the service were just below avg. But so short staffed I doubt I would go back. Food is good, but would avoid the steak, was only 5 small strips and served cool. Pastas were great, Lamb shoulder was the best dish.
