Description

This legendary LA taco stand (est. 1959) boasts long lines of locals seeking fresh shredded beef and atomic-orange cheddar concoctions of deliciousness at all hours of the day, but don't be intimidated. Waiting in line (20-25 minutes from arrival to departure at peak times) is part of the experience and seating is available both inside and out. The blended salsa carries a refreshing kick and chips and guacamole go perfectly with your main dish. Tacos are the star but the other traditional dishes such as the beef or chicken tamales in mole sauce or the vegetarian tostada are excellent. Be aware before you go that beverages are limited to soda (Pepsi products) and water.

We ve been eating at Tito s for years obviously because love the tacos, but tonight, for the first time, something was wrong! I was tempted to take it back, but was too much hassle on a Friday night and 40 people in line+ packed parking lot.Somehow the tacos tasted burnt,meat inside was dried out and burnt tasting. Hope Mr. Tito reads his email. I ll be calling,,oops,maybe not cause I don t habla espanol.

My co-workers hyped up this place so much I had to try it. I guess the tacos are okay but if you go in expecting authentic fried tacos, you're in for a big disappointment. In my opinion the food is bland and the salsa is what gives it the okay taste. I would rate this place somewhere between Del Taco and Taco Bell. Sorry if I offended any Tito lovers but this is just my opinion.

With all the hype about this place when I was last in Culver City I stopped by. As expected the line was kinda long. The p;ace was nothing to look at but hey I was there for the food. The food could not have been more disappointing, the flavor wasn't even as good as Taco Bell, Do your self a favor and just find a local Taco Bell save your self a drive and alot of disappointment because Taco Bell has got it all over this place. How this place stays in bussiness and has the money to adverise on TV beats the heck out of me. To put it simply IT SUCKS.

I have been eating there for 30 years. Love it all, but the prices have been going up and the Salsa has less tomato-sort of PINK lately. Bought food there last nite and they didn't put 1 chip in my 2 boxes. BIG BUMMER WHEN I GOT HOME! This is my formal complaint. Got to get the Chicas on the ball MR. Tito-

After hearing for years of Tito's I finally had the opertunity. What a tremedous let down. I woul;d have to say that Taco Bell out does anything at Tito's. People that think this is the bomb are right it's just that a bomb. What a waste of time driving all that way shuld have just gone down the street to any Americanize taco place and would have had a better experience.
