We have gone here for years, but our most recent visit was our final one. Over the years, the food has gone from superlative to good to finally just so-so.22 is generous! This restaurant is living off it's past reputation, and the place has become so pretentious I am no longer comfortable coming. There are so many reasonably-priced Vietnamese restaurants in San Fran that are sooo much better- save your self $100 and get better food elsewhere!

Good lunch specials. Quiet and relaxing ambiance amidst a tourisy area.

Pretty restaurant with decent food and OK service; Worth a visit when one gets tired of Slanted Door

Very friendly service, room is so big that it lacks some character because of it, but food was plentiful and excellent.

Beautiful, romantic setting, best crab soup in the world. Service is just OK and it is pretty expensive.

Best is the decor and service and an upstairs bar that has a trio and lots of comfort. Oh the food, that's a little better than very good so let's give the whole experience a 3.

Recent visit even better than previous ones. Food on upswing. Wonderful French-Vietnamese influenced foods, subtle spicing. Bus boys the worst I have ever seen - will grab a dish and run the moment they decide you are done without asking. Literally -hold on to your plates to get the last great taste! They actually almost ruin the experience, so beware. Waitress, on the other hand, was superb.

Our favorite restaurant needs some sprucing up. It has become downright shabby. But the food still shines.
