Angelina's Restaurant & Bar, Alexandria

This is a nice, clean, nothiing-fancy restaurant with friendly service. The prices were great and portions generous. I had the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was out of this world good, which leads me to believe the Broasted Chicken, which was the special, would have been great too! My husband ordered the large size speghetti plate with an extra meatball for 50 cents. He's a big eater, but wished he'd ordered the small size and their was so much meat in the sauce, the extra meatball wasn't nessesary. The garlic bread was great!

Horrible lasagna-no sauce, fake cheese & noodles comes luke warm. Comes back nuked with grease all over the plate. Greasy garlic bread. Meatloaf special was okay. Hamburger was okay. Server never asked for beverage refills. May go back for the pizza, saw them coming out of the kitchen and looked very good. Other reviews say they are.

Awesome service. the food was great. $2 buck burgers are great. the Garlic Bread is fantastic.

Best value in town. Great food, reasonable prices, and the people are friendly.

BEST PIZZA IN ALEXANDRIA / CLEAN RESTAURANT/ FRIENDLY STAFF

The pizza there is very good, a lot better then any of the chains. The people are friendly and service was prompt. My wife and I ate there for less then $20 including tip.

I haven't been here since it was remodeled so I thought I would give it another chance, I ordered the ribs and steak tip combo with a medium cheese/pepperoni pizza, the ribs were good but the portions were small with very little meat, the steak tips were horrible and very dry so they were sent back for the fried shrimp. the pizza was the reason for my return to this place after hearing all the reviews of it being the best pizza around I had to try it, (drum roll please) average to poor in taste and the texture of the the crust was more like a thin cracker than a pizza crust. as far a service goes I would say the staff was friendly but if you only get water with your meal don't expect to see a refill till your check arrives,

I m sittin here right now and I haven t eaten my dinner yet but the service a food thus far has been less that average. 15 mins for drinks after I was mocked by the waiter for asking cuz you know this place looks lower than a Perkins, waiters that couldnt even respond to us when spoken to and horrible drinks and side salads. Let s see what dinner brings...

We love it- the place and the food has really changed with the remodel. The bar staff is so fun and friendly~great place to go for Happy Hour!! Free popcorn and great appetizers. The garlic bread is awesome...next time I am just getting that! The pasta we had last week was wonderful and the pizzas are to die for! Always know it will be a great night out when we go there. We enjoy the bar area~
