My wife and I have been here 20+ times over the last four years. We always get the Carne Asada - a grilled skirt steak with REALLY great flavor and it comes with refried beans, rice, pico de gallo, and tortillas, so you can even improvise a fajita if you want. The steak is so good by itself though, so I never add anything to it anymore. Before I discovered the Carne Asada, I also had the chimichanga, which wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked, the arroz con pollo, which was pretty good, and the fajitas, which are great, but the steak that comes with that is not quite as flavorful as the carne asada steak. They switched locations a few years ago and their “new” place is very nice and has a nice outdoor dining area too. Highly recommend it and definitely better than any other Mexican restaurant in Rochester, and believe me, we’ve tried them all.
My husband and I absolutely LOVE Fiesta Mexicana! We try to venture there almost every Friday night to relax after a long day. The customer service is great, the food is undoubtedly the best Mexican in the city and the atmosphere is so fun. Even on a busy night like Friday, their wait staff's prompt service and friendly demeanor are impeccable.
