Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, Duluth

Was new years day visiting from out of town. My wife and I had ordered our meals and I stayed with water for the time being. Drank my water then put it on the edge of table for my waitress to see. At this time she had been refilling everyones water even the customers who where drinking another beverage. Waited for sometime still no refill on my water. At that moment noticed that another waitress had come up to mine and had told her my order was up. This was plain to see as we where sitting with a birds eye view into the kitchen. My waitress then stated that my meal could wait. At this point other waitress just walked away 10 minutes later I noticed that my waitress was returning from kitchen with our meals we advised that the plates where hot. I guess this was from the heat lamp they had been sitting under. At this point I still havent gotten a refill of my water so I take my wifes as she is drinking coffee. We begin to eat our meals and so forth when my waitress returns and without prompting ask if that will be all( no how was your meal or Is everything ok). I then ask if i could have a refill of water at this point the waitress actually rolled her eyes at me. Needless to say this was too much to ask and she promptly refilled my glass. Not before getting into to a verbal arguement with the busboy who by the context of the conversation was her boyfriend and was low on cigs.. By this time I'm going to give the manager my list of complants. But save face for my wife she could see how mad i was and said she would pay and that i should goto the car. I really dont know if i will ever spend any of my money at a perkins in duluth again for this reason. I have always had a good relationship with this chain in duluth. My sister and a girlfreind of mine had worked at the london road location. I had attend school with the propriotors children. But hence forth I believe I will try to find an alternative for the time being.
