The Cheesecake Factory, Edina

Just went to this location for the first time, was not impressed with food or service.

Went to the cheesecake factory to celebrate my birthday, had very rude snoty service. was very disaponted with the smug phony attitude's from most of the staff. our waitres was unfriendly and acted as if we deserved no respect.fake smiles an dirty looks everytime she walked away. and wen we asked for something she seemed it was a hassle for her to get. beside that hats off to the chef...the food was delicious. still dont think i will ever go back..you can get great food lots of places with better service

If you know anything about Cheesecake Factory, then you know the food is excellent. There pretty much is always a wait. On peak dinner hours, you're talking about an hour or even two hour wait. The menu is spectacular and they have all kinds of food: American, Asian, Italian, Mexican. The service at this particular Cheesecake was great. I went out to dinner with a friend. Our drinks were served quickly. Our waitress checked on us regularly. A manager came out to tell us that one of their cooks overcooked my friend's chicken dish, so it had to be redone. He said it would be out in 3 minutes and it was on our table in less than 3 minutes. It was nice to have the manager tell us this. If he hadn't, we probably wouldn't have even noticed. Great food, great service! Worth it. Go check it out. By the way, they have a full bar, but their drinks are VERY expensive. Very good, but very expensive.

Although the wait was long, it was worth it. We only grabbed appetized and dessert and we were plenty full. The Prices are a bit high, but it is a neat experience.

It was my son's 15th b-day when we were there. The food was very delicious, they had a big selections. We had Fried Calamari as an appetizer, and it was very good. My son had the Teriyaki Chicken and he liked it. He had to share it, because it was big. The service there was wonderful, the waiter was nice, she even asked me if our 2 year old wanted some cut bananas.

Plan for a 45 - hr wait (if on the weekend). We were at a table that was too close to others. In fact, the waitress who was serving the table next to us had her butt literally hanging over our table. The food was delicious, portion sizes were very reasonable (we both had leftovers). Shrimp Scampi and Salmon were great. Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake to die for. German chocolate cheesecake was alright. All in all, the food was great, the service was lacking. I'd rate the food a five and the service a three.

Very good family dining. I recommend dessert first as the portions are huge here. Might think about sharing a dish or two dishes between three people.

great appitizers and the martini's are great too!! Not to mention the cheesecake YUMMMM!!!
