went to the buffet food was good, but customer service was horrible- the host/person sitting behind the counter didnt smile once or even tried to make me feel welcome.
she even let me sit in the dark until another staff member turned the lights on in my booth. 15 minutes later.
i think i'll go elsewhere next time
We have been coming here from the past one year, and there was much improvement in terms of service, and coming to food it varies every time we visit there. It doesn't mean that food is not good, but will not reach the expectation we go over there. Latest visit was last weekend to give a treat to my friends, we ordered couple of drinks, appetizers and food. Samosas were excellent as usual, strongly recommends to taste Butter Chicken and Chef's special dishes, food was too good on that day. My guests were pleased with the food, and service. But one thing I would like to suggest is not to ask anything with the lady sitting over there, may be she is the manager or something. She hardly smiles and continuously look at your food, folding napkins and talking loudly in the phone which every one can hear. After Having food we sat just chatting to each other but due to her sound we left with a little disappointment.
Pros: Good food and Service which has improved a lot from past.
Cons: one thing stated above.
We visit this restaurant so often, the food is good.
Two bad things about this place: 1) the price for the buffet varies each time we go there: suggestion would be to put the cost of the buffet somewhere where people would see. 2) the second thing is the owner's attitude: she rarely smiles and when she does it seems like it costs her money to smile, as a customer I think smiling and thanking the customers is good for the business, and we go there at least once a month (I understand we all have bad days and sometimes we do not want to smile) a suggestion to the owner is that there are tons of Indian restaurants in Minneapolis and its growing everyday and if you would like your customers to keep coming back and recommend your restaurant you should be more customer conscious, even if your food is good.
yuk i hated it.,, the food taste all the same ,,,oily and everything is very hot. there is nothing kids can eat,, finally there is no management at all,, very bad customer services.. i will never go back there again, i rather go, white castle
I'd say its so-so. Better than most of the Indian restaurants but nothing great to write home about.
Their food is a little 'heavy' (greasy? oily?) and everything tastes the same. There is no real variety.
Food is nominaly priced, but hospitality which is vital for a restaurant is missing. That too there is this lady, she gives a look like as if we are there to disturb them. Some times they won't even consider our request for prefered table.
Excellent! Best Biriyani I've had. Staff aren't Minnesota nice but they are not rude. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the lamb vindaloo was not up to par. I've had better from Indian take-aways in London.
